Helping women rebuild strength, stability, and trust in their bodies, one breath at a time.

Your Body. Your Wisdom. Your Healing.

Welcome! My name is Angi, and I believe in the innate wisdom of the human body-mind and its ability to self-heal. Our bodies are remarkable in what they are capable of, composed of a complex array of physical structures powered by an even greater number of physiological processes. With so many moving parts, there are many opportunities for things to fall out of balance, and our bodies let us know when this happens by sending signals in the form of pain, dysfunction, and disease.

In the modern lives we lead, we are often surrounded by distractions that make it difficult to form meaningful connections with our inner selves, with others, and with the environment around us. The human need for professional care grows every day, yet the care available often fragments us into separate parts rather than treating us as whole beings. This fragmentation can prevent complete healing because an important part of the picture is missing. If these things resonate with you, I would love to work with you to help reconnect you with your body, and foster a felt sense of trust and safety that gives you room to heal.

What I Do

My work is a holistic, embodied alternative or companion to traditional pelvic floor physical therapy. I do this work following the Restore Your Core® philosophy. This is an evidence-based whole-body approach that helps you build strength, restore function, and move with greater awareness. The foundations of the method include nervous system safety, repatterning posture and gait, breath work, cultivating an ideal core firing pattern, and building strength and mobility throughout the body. These foundations work together to relieve pressure from the core and pelvic floor, allowing them to respond reflexively to movement and load demands from daily life and your favorite physical activities.

Why should you care about your pelvic floor?

  • Gives physical support your pelvic organs (bladder, bowel, reproductive organs).
  • Controls urinary and bowel function (prevents leakage, allows for full emptying).
  • Influences sexual function (comfort, arousal, and orgasm).
  • Coordinates with the core muscles and diaphragm to manage pressure in the abdominal cavity during movement, and breathing.

Who I Help

I specialize in working with mothers. During pregnancy and delivery, the core and pelvic floor muscles undergo significant changes due to the added weight and pressure from the growing baby, as well as from the demands of childbirth itself. These changes compromise function throughout pregnancy by necessity, and women are simply not taught how to regain optimal function once pregnancy and delivery are over. Our bodies are expected to “bounce back” without intention or guidance. This often results in bodies remaining stuck in compromised patterns that developed during pregnancy. Many of my clients come to me after feeling dismissed, confused, or unsure where to turn next.

How do you know if your core and pelvic floor have not “bounced back”?

You do not need to be recently postpartum to benefit from this work. Many women seek support years after childbirth or after spending years trying to push through symptoms without finding lasting solutions.

My approach focuses on helping you understand how your body works and supporting it through mindful, progressive movement. Healing does not require perfection. It begins with learning to listen to your body and giving it the support it needs to move forward.

If this sounds like you, you’re not alone—and there is a path forward.

Areas of Practice

Appointments are preferably conducted in person. I conduct work at my home, in the San Carlos neighborhood of San Diego, CA. Exact address will be provided to you in your booking confirmation. If you have a circumstance where you cannot meet in person, we can discuss working together remotely via Zoom. However, I do believe sessions are more effective in person.

Details about my services and fees are provided below. I look forward to hearing from you.

SERVICE CONSULTATION

Before booking a physical assessment, we’ll have a consultation (via phone or video chat). During this call, we’ll discuss your medical history, concerns, and goals. You’ll also provide photos and videos for me to evaluate, helping me to identify postural and gait patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms. If we have already connected and discussed working together, the consultation requirement will be waived and you may proceed with booking an assessment. Please reach out to me via email to book for you since the client portal will not allow new clients to book an assessment.

PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT

Before booking a 1-1 teaching session, a physical assessment is required. In this 90-minute session, I will assess your posture, breathing, pelvic and spinal ranges of motion, and gait. I will aim to help you find connection to and awareness of your body through each step of this assessment process with the hope that you leave your appointment with a sense of new possibilities for your health and wellness. The product of this appointment is a written report of findings, and my recommendations for moving forward.

1-1 TEACHING SESSIONS

To book a 1-1 teaching session, you must first complete a consultation and physical assessment. In these sessions, we’ll work on movements and exercises based on patterns and needs identified during your assessment.

After each session, you’ll receive a small, manageable homework assignment to keep you moving forward. The aim is to progress at a pace that feels comfortable, without overwhelming you. All 1-1 appointments are tailor-made to fit your needs, as every body and lived experience is unique. Typically, it takes a minimum of five appointments to cover the necessary material. Sessions can be booked individually or in packages at a discounted rate.

SMALL GROUP CLASSES

Small group classes offer a supportive environment improve movement patterns and relieve symptoms alongside others on a similar journey.

Classes focus on restoring healthy core and pelvic floor function through progressive movement practices that emphasize breath, muscle engagement coordination, mobility, and strength.

These classes are taught in a 6-week series consisting of a 1-hour class each week with no more than four participants per series. While instruction in this format is not tailored, we cover all the foundational material and individual support will be offered to each student.

POLICIES

Cancellation: My time, and yours, is valuable, and I look forward to creating a space of care and respect during our work together. Things come up and there are reasons why appointments need to be changed or canceled. A 48-hour notice by email, call, or text is required to cancel without penalty. This allows adequate time for me to offer your appointment time to another client. Cancellations or changes with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows will result in loss of the full session fee. If you become ill after the notice period has expired, penalties for cancelling will be waived. Please notify me as soon as possible, and wait until you’re fully recovered to reschedule.

Tardiness: Late arrivals will not receive an extension in service time and you will be charged the full session fee.

Attire: I recommend fitted shorts or pants and a sports bra to help me better assess your body and adjust your movements. Of course, you may dress to your comfort level and your decisions will be respected. However, bulky clothing may make sessions less effective. I’ll do everything I can to create a sense of safety and trust.
